Why do some people keep falling into problems one after the other, no matter how hard they try not to? To be clear it is not something with those people, actually it is phenomena of the brain. The simple answer is – ‘it is our brain that makes it so.’ This article tackles the question, ‘why our brain is a sucker for problems?’ and tries to answer it with some of the famous experiments that the neuroscientist has conducted on this matter.
Why does this happen?
The reason why our problems never seem to go away is ‘we keep changing how we define the problems’. Cognitive psychology and neuroscience suggest that this kind of behaviour is a consequence of the basic way our brain processes information, i.e., we are constantly comparing what is in front of us to its recent context.
