The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for the Post of Junior Research Fellow for a Funded Project (Sanction Order No. EEQ/2019/000309),in the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
Title of the Project: An Automatic Tool for Flood Extent Mapping and Road Passability Analysis using Social Media Posts and Satellite Images for Indian Urban Areas.
Qualification: ME/M Tech in CSE/IT/Communication Engineering with valid NET or GATE score. Candidates with sound knowledge in PYTHON and OpenCV are expected.
Experience in processing satellite images is more desirable. Candidates without GATE/NET will be paid as per institute norms.
