The school dedicated to the legacy of Lokmanya Tilak

     The Parle Tilak Vidyalaya set up in memory of the veteran freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak way back in 1921 at Vile Parle East in North West Mumbai, in Maharashtra celebrating its centenary year with a series of programs, including lecture series and competitions, throughout the year.

    With a humble beginning, a Marathi medium school was started on 9 June 1921, with just seven students in one room, by the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association (PTVA). Today PTVA boasts of different educational institutions imparting quality education from Primary to Post Graduate degree courses to over 26,000 students.
