A Japanese Lesson on Resilience

    JAPAN WAS HIT by one of the most devastating natural calamities in recent times in the form of the deadly Tsunami and earthquake, which unleashed havoc and destruction. Thousands of valuable lives were lost, towns were washed away and the nuclear installations broke down triggering the panic button of a radiation threat.

   However the level headed approach and the systematic disaster management of the Japanese is something that the whole world witnessed in the last few days. The Japanese are facing the catastrophe squarely and in a disciplined manner without dramatic reactions and panic.

   Here is a recount of the events of an Indian IT professional, Sheeba Y, working in Japan who was a witness to these gory sights and the horrendous natural calamity. Read below a summary of her experience in Japan in her own words.
