Star Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, branded by his stage name KK, passed away on 31 May 2022 at the age of 53. He fell ill soon after his performance in a music concert at Nazrul Mancha auditorium, in South Kolkata. He was brought to hospital where he was declared dead. KK was a versatile genius. One of the Hindi songs he sang at his last concert was “Pal”, which has the lyrics “whether we live or not, we will remember this moment.”

   Thousands of his admirers paid tribute on an Instagram post put up by his team with photos showing KK singing in front of a roaring crowd, accompanied by the caption “Pulsating gig tonight at Nazrul Mancha ... Love you all.” “Rest in peace legend, you will be always in our heart,” wrote another admirer. “You’re gone too soon!!!!!!” commented another.
