Meet Jinali Mody of Banofi Leather

 Jinali Mody is the founder of Banofi Leather, a material science startup, that is creating a plant-based leather alternative by upcycling banana crop waste. Jinali, completed her Master of Environmental Management from Yale University, and has an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from St Xavier’s College in Mumbai.

    She has also worked for three years at the renowned McKinsey & Co. in finance, procurement, revenue optimization and other areas across a myriad of industries and served as the Chief Strategy Officer for an Indian start-up focused on plastic recycling.
