The gulf that separates...

    What is life but a series of experiences, may be seemingly unrelated to one another, may be meaningless and arbitrary. Meaning is what we add to life. Human history may be seen as seamless and coalescent, with generations merging into one another, transmitting knowledge and culture, traditions and language.

   Changes take place in mores and thought and lifestyles to suit the needs. World has become a large village and the destiny of all are bound together. In this huge cauldron of change and permanence, we live like bubbles. We cannot draw a line and say here comes the next generation.

    They overlap. It may not be a linear progression. It may be a palimpsest, like paintings in the caves and in temple corridors, one over the other. This is Corona time. Schools are closed for months. I sit near the window of my first floor Flat and watch a dozen boys playing games.

   There is noise; they shout, laugh and....
