Authors, book publicists, distributors and book reviewers play a major role in creating the reading habit. Often, people complain that the reading habit is fading away amongst Indian youth due to the advent of smartphones, iPad and Playstation.

   But, my concern is do they have access to good books? As an author myself, I would like to ask other authors, “Do you write good high-quality content that will create an impact on the youth of India?” By the term high-quality, I don’t intend to focus on the usage of idioms and proverbs but does your content communicate the message clearly? Are you maintaining the dignity of the language? Another question, and this one is for the consumers (readers in this case) – how much money are you ready to pay for reading a good book compared to seeing a movie in the theatre? Which is the last book that you will recommend to your child/friend/colleague/ parents/relatives? How do you....
