Screen sagacity Indeed, there is life away from the screen

  The WHO discourages media use except for video chatting by children younger than 18 to 24 months and recommends screen time limit of one hour a day for children aged 2 to 5. It says less is better. And as the child grows, a one-size-fits-all approach won’t work. .....................................................

  Overly dependence on digital gadgets could especially impact students adversely as it can result in reduced learning and poor grammar as there is a loss of writing skills with features like Spell Check. Addiction to gadgets could also be responsible for distracting students while reading which could lead to low grades in school 

The sights are all-too- familiar. Toddlers staring wide-eyed at the cell phones and teens navigating mobile apps sitting hunched over their mobile phones.The nagging question is when is it too early? And in what ways it would impact development?
