For an artist and the lady at that, it’s hard to juggle art work with household chores and a child. So, it is with young Isha Bavishi, Ahmedabad based artist mad keen on heritage in her works. 

  Isha graduated in commerce but her heart was in art and she seeks to pursue the fine art all her life. Canvas has beckoned her since childhood.

  Schooled in a leading school of fine arts in Ahmedabad and having been brought up in Ahmedabad, Isha has grown to like heritage sites of the historic city of Ahmedabad which was declared ‘India’s first Heritage City’ by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2017. Ahmedabad was in the race for the UNESCO title along with Delhi and Mumbai.

  Says Isha, “Apart from the historic monuments in the city, what lends distinction to the city are the ‘pols’ which are residential clusters in the walled city area of....
