Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: ‘Patriot of Patriots’

  The struggle for India’s independence was a long scuffle; it was sustained by the sacrifices of millions of Indians. Subhas Chandra Bose, an unwavering and passionate freedom fighter, was one among them.

  He fearlessly established the Azad Hind Fauj, also known as the Indian National Army (INA), with the sole purpose of liberating India from the clutches of the British Empire.

  Netaji’s entry into political life gave a fresh turn to India’s fight. A new wave of enthusiasm swept the country. His restless and dynamic spirit led him to a path that was somewhat different from our own.

  Bose experienced both triumphs and setbacks throughout his fight for independence. The British dealt a devastating blow to the INA, completely crushing and defeating them. In spite of challenges, he managed to unite the nation in the fight for freedom, solidifying his status as a true national hero.
