In most societies, Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are a taboo and hence they are rarely discussed in public. This causes suppression of facts which leads to complications of the diseases and further transmission into society. So, why do we try to hide suffering when it is just another communicable disease which is curable? Well, this is because of certain perceptions in society.

   We have Kamasutra sculptures on our temple walls which are taken to be normal but we will never discuss reproductive health openly. All living beings eat, drink, sleep, breathe, but when it is about reproduction, we feel something ashamed about it. Yes, all species would come to an end if sexual relations cease to exist.
