Walking tall, facing odds

  There is no room for gloom or doom in her life. Spurred by her robust will to dash ahead, she has finally found her niche in society. 

   Miss Rehnuma Sodawala, 22, an exuberant engineering graduate from Bharuch in Gujarat and daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver, emerged as one of the top five winners under the herSTART programme launched by the Gujarat University Startup and Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC). More than 650 participants applied for the programme, out of which 120 were selected for a twoday boot camp. The boot camp was then followed by a pitching session of these young and zesty female ideators. Later, GUSEC selected only 35 ideas for pre-incubation support.

   GUSEC then awarded cash prizes worth Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 4 Lakh which was funded by Motwani Jadeja Foundation.
