Bridging the Generation gap

   Obviously, no two people have the same point of view or think alike. Then, how can you expect your parents or grandparents to think like you? Often, children are irritated with their parents and feel that nobody understands them. Yes, the difference of opinion exists among generations, which is commonly termed as Generation Gap.

   First of all, we should understand why this generation gap exists. Adopting from previous generations is never a conscious effort. It happens involuntarily. Our endeavour should be to have a selective approach and consciously avoid certain traits from our older generations. For this to happen, we should be able to analyse the good and the bad.

  There is a thin line of demarcation between the two and sometimes non-existent. Assimilating the positive traits is a lifelong process. Most importantly, we should remember that we are being judged by the next generation even before you know it. Every generation has....
