Jodhpur leaping into the Digital Era

Jodhpur, a colourful city also called the ‘Blue City’ is the second-largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan and officially the second metropolitan city of the state. It is well-known for its furniture industry, handicrafts, glass bangles, cutlery, carpets and marble goods. The city also boasts of unique cuisine.

Jodhpur is fast becoming an education hub and the Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has a vision to turn his home turf into a city of learning in the state of Rajasthan.

Jodhpur has AIIMS, IIT, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Ayurved University, Sardar Patel University for police, security and criminal justice, National Law University, National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), State Institute for Hotel Management, Footwear Design and Development Institute, Institute of Handloom Technology and the state’s own Dr. Sampoornanand Medical College.
