War against the Coronavirus Waves of hope in a flood of Fake News

    The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 a ‘pandemic’. Its Director-General says, “Describing the situation as a pandemic does not change the WHO’s assessment of the threat posed by this Coronavirus. It doesn’t change what WHO is doing and it doesn’t change what countries should do.”

“This is not a drill. This is not the time to give up. This is not a time for excuses. This is a time for pulling out all the stops.” Director-General of World Health Organization.

    Amidst depressing reports on the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), some good news has made waves of hope. But we should take extra care not to get ourselves drowned in the flood of fake news on this serious issue.
